Returns Policy
At The Little Belfast Furniture Shop, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with your furniture purchase. Please review our detailed returns policy below:
Cooling-Off Period
You are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days from the date you receive your furniture, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To initiate cancellation, please contact us in writing via email at littlebelfastfurnitureshop@gmail.com, providing your order detail.
Returning Your Item
Returned furniture must be sent back to us within 14 days of cancellation.
Items should be unused, unassembled (unless assembled by us), in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was delivered in error or is faulty. A fee of £150 will apply if we are requested to collect furniture being returned, except in cases of faulty items where we cover collection costs.

Refunds
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days, including standard delivery costs. Assembly fees, which are selected and paid separately online, are non-refundable as they represent a completed service agreed upon at the time of purchase.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
For faulty or misrepresented items, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund (excluding non-refundable assembly fees), with return shipping costs covered by us.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
For the quickest resolution, we recommend notifying us of any damaged or faulty furniture within 48 hours of delivery at 07471640831, including photographic evidence, due to the nature of furniture. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly upon verification.
You are entitled to return faulty items within 30 days for a full refund (excluding non-refundable assembly fees). Between 30 days and 6 months, we offer a repair or replacement, with a refund (excluding non-refundable assembly fees) if these options fail. Beyond 6 months, you must demonstrate the fault existed at the time of purchase.
Please note that your statutory rights to reject faulty goods within 30 days remain unaffected by the 48-hour recommendation.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom-made or made-to-order furniture, such as bespoke beds, is non-refundable and non- transferable during the cooling-off period, as these items are tailored to your specifications.
However, if faulty or not as described, you retain your statutory rights to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Items showing signs of unreasonable use, damage, or assembly beyond what is necessary for initial testing and inspection may not qualify for a refund.
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind once an item has been delivered and accepted, except where statutory rights apply due to faults or misrepresentations.

Assembly Fees
We offer an optional assembly service, which can be selected and paid for separately online, with fees of £20 or £40 depending on the item. Assembly fees are non-refundable, as they cover a service fully performed upon completion, as agreed upon during the online checkout process. This applies even if the order is cancelled within the 14-day cooling-off period or if the item is faulty, unless otherwise required by law. Please select this service when placing your order.
Delivery Disclaimer
Our delivery team ensures the utmost care during furniture delivery. To facilitate a seamless process, please:
Remove breakable items (e.g., pictures, lamps) from rooms and hallways.
Protect walls and floors if necessary to prevent damage.
Ensure clear access through pathways and entrances.
Verify that purchased items fit intended spaces (e.g., rooms, attics); we offer a paid assessment visit for guidance.
We are not liable for damages or delays if these guidelines are not followed.
Disposal of Old Furniture
For the removal of old furniture, please place items outside where possible. We charge £30 per sofa (or £20 if outside), £20 per bed or dining table (or £30 if not unassembled/outside). Disposal must be pre-arranged by contacting us at 07471640831.
